Flowers are nice. So are photos and videos—in twenty years from now. And if you don’t feed people, they might be a little upset. But what really makes the chasunah is the music.

Nobody puts the energy and power into that music like Dovid Altein et al. His sound system is top of the line. His arrangements are designed for non-stop extreme dancing. And, equally important, he’s a mentch to deal with. For hassle-free, best chasunah music in TO, I wouldn’t think twice before hiring Dovid Altein again.

The best decision we could have made was to hire Dovid for the music of our wedding. He took the job all the way- showing great dedication and organization with communication, timeliness, and customizing the performance to our event.

The music was professional and extremely lively. The energy in the room was tangible. All the participants of the wedding could’nt get over the joy the sensed in the atmosphere. The music simply lifted everyone off their feet and made the dancing passionate and jubilant.

I want to say a big Thank You and Yasher Koach for the leibidike music at our son’s chassunah in LA. The music was very easy to dance to, and I got positive comments about it while we were there celebrating the Sheva Brachos. One woman asked me where you are from, and is hoping that her son might meet a girl from somewhere close to Toronto, because “that was the nicest music she ever heard by a Chassunah”.

You were, of course, a pleasure to deal with (and I say this without prejudice), playing as long as we wanted, making announcements, very easy and accommodating The sound system was great, it really did the job of being loud and leibidik, but not deafening. You were well in tune with the crowd, and their energy level, playing music appropriately. The Chosson and Kallah were very happy with the music as well. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to the next Chassunah, iyh!

My daughter’s wedding took place on yud dalet Kislev 5773. Dovid took care of absolutely all technical considerations. From keyboard to lighting, from wiring to speakers. You name it; he did it! His web site states the simcha doesn’t finish till the Choson & Kallah say so. They didn’t say so for 5 ½ hours and so the music continued till 12:00 midnight.

Now one thing people dislike intensely is the thunderous sound of the music at chasanas. Many habitually leave the hall because the music is ear splitting. I’ve seen people who actually have ear plugs for protection. The sound engineering feat which Dovid will readily explain augments sound while ears remain in tact. His expertise in this area let the music be heard, while people were astounded that they could also hear their friends in conversation too. Last but not least the music was exactly what “the Doctor ordered”. Nigunim! Beautifully played, soft and sweet, slow and determined, lebidik and very very freilich. People danced al night.

To all I say – Yashar Koichachem to Dovid ! If we do it again IY’H – Dovid’s our choice.
